Abstract

Organic acids play a major role in prolonging the physiological state of plants. The effect of citric acid to maintain the freshness of plant leaves, flowers and fruits was investigated. The plants were grown under hydroponic conditions. It was found that the plants that were sprayed with citric acid remained healthy when compared to the other plants
